A Mile Closer to Hope Walk

On October 2nd, we kicked off Domestic Violence Awareness Month with the “A Mile Closer to Hope” walk hosted by the Rose Andom Center, SafeHouse Denver, Violence Free Colorado, and the Denver Police Department. I appreciate everyone coming out and supporting survivors, advocates, and community leaders. I want to thank Attorney General Phil Weiser and Denver Mayor Mike Johnston for speaking in support of this important awareness month and their commitment to supporting survivors. Under the gold dome, I will continue to advocate and protect domestic violence survivors and ensure they have crucial services accessible to them.
