Bill to extend the American Indian Affairs Interim Study Committee passes Legislative Council Meeting

On October 15, Legislative Council convened to discuss and vote on legislation that moved out of 2024 interim committees. As the Chair of the American Indian Affairs Study Committee, I presented the three bills that moved out of committee including my bill to continue the interim committee for another 5 years. All three bills passed out of Legislative Council today and will be introduced next legislative session, and ensure we continue to address and solve problems American Indian Tribal Nations are facing.
